Being an addict

Addiction is a disease that takes control of a person's life. It becomes the person's support, best friend and lover even when it is causing pain at every turn. The idea is to not fear the pain of getting clean. Addicts' resemble combat soldiers because they also have a version of PTSD that is treatable. Healing starts out hard and continues to be hard until the steps are worked patiently and truthfully. Just remember that More will be Revealed.
