My Story

Rick is a army veteran that was discharged honorable in 1975. He worked in many different jobs, was married and later divorced. He has three daughters he was separated from and took them every weekend. At age 43 he worked two part time jobs and went back to school for his bachelors and masters degrees. He completed all of this while he was getting his girls and paying child support. He graduated at age 49 and is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. He has worked in community mental health, in substance abuse and with the Veterans Administration for the last 16 years. He has been with his current wife for 25 years with his mother in law now living with them. He recently retired and in January 2020 he is beginning a new chapter in his life opening this private practice. Going back to school changed his life and he is working in a career he loves.
